The Port of Centralia was established in 1986 by a vote of the people.

The purpose of the port is to bring economic growth to Centralia. This is done by taking tax dollars to develop land with the goal of increasing the tax base and creating new jobs.

While the Port of Centralia doesn’t have a major water way as is traditionally thought of with Ports, we have some wonderful marketable attributes. Centralia is uniquely positioned half way between Seattle and Portland along the interstate highway. We have the ideal land for developing manufacturing and warehouse properties. Centralia has also become a shopping destination with our outlet malls and now the development of Centralia Station.
